Al-Abrar Jame Mosque has been inaugurated by performing Friday prayers at Abrar Complex.

 The two-storey mosque, built at a cost of around Tk 50 lakh, was inaugurated today (October 6).

At least five hundred worshipers will be able to perform prayers together.

Senior Muhaddis Maulana Forkan Uddin of Darul Uloom Moinul Islam Madrasa in Hathazari led the Friday prayers.

During the Friday prayers, he said that the mosque was named in accordance with the verses of the Holy Quran. Not in the name of any person or organization. The mosque is not a house like ours.

This mosque will not be planted on the Day of Resurrection and will not take the builders to heaven.

 Maulana Mufti Imam Uddin Kasemi, Director of Abrar Complex and Maulana Junaid, former Khatib of Nayanpur Jame Mosque in Khagrachhari spoke on the occasion.

Khagrachhari Collector Jame Mosque Khatib Maulana Habibullah Jahangir, Complex Steering Committee President Alhaj Arif Saudagar,

  Vice-President Shamsul Amin Khan, General Secretary Alhaj Nur Alam, Joint General Secretary Mostafa Haider, Finance Secretary Badsha Mia Saudagar and other political and non-political, businessmen and dignitaries of the area were also present.
