A mother gathering has been held at Majhardia Government Primary School No. 18 in Algi Union of Bhanga Upazila of Faridpur.

The function was held at 12 noon on Thursday (October 8) in the hall room of Majhardia Government Primary School No. 18 in the upazila.

The school headmaster was present at the ceremony. Shahrul Islam, UP member of the local ward. Shawkat Mollah, political leader Delwar Hossain, assistant teacher, Fahmida Akhter, Marufa Sharmin Runa, Sandharani Das, Farzana Yasmin Swapna, Anjuguh, Palash Saha, parents of the students and other dignitaries of the area.

The event was presided over by the president of the school's managing committee. T. M Farhad Nannu.

The President started the discussion by thanking all the teachers, parents and local dignitaries present in his speech.

He said at one point in his discussion that the scientist Napoleon had said, 'Give an educated mother I will give the gift of an educated nation.' So the role of mothers in building a nation is immense. He remarked that teachers as well as all parents should take care of the progress of students' studies.
