Keram should play a leading role in establishing religion: National Aimma Parishad in Khagrachari

A discussion meeting has been held on the role of ulama in the formation of religion and establishment of Khagrachhari Sadar Branch Committee of National Ulama Mashayekh Aimma Parishad.

 The meeting was held on Wednesday (October 8) at the temporary office of Arambagh in Khagrachhari Municipality under the chairmanship of Maulana Mufti Imam Uddin Kasemi, president of the district Aimma Parishad.

 District Secretary Maulana Nurul Kabir Arman presided over the meeting. Khatib of Jame Mosque Hafez Maulana Bashir Uddin, Khatib of Dakshin Para Jame Mosque Maulana Jamal Uddin and others.

Speakers at the meeting said that at present our society is full of various superstitions and obscenities. The moral character has collapsed. Murder, rape, theft and oppression of helpless people are increasing day by day. In this situation we have to forget all differences and unite. Ulama Keram has to play a leading role in establishing ideal people and religion.

After the discussion, a 21-member Khagrachhari Sadar Upazila Branch Committee was formed with Maulana Yusuf as President, Maulana Rezaul Karim Misbah as Senior Vice President, Maulana Jamal Uddin and Maulana Nasir as Vice President and Maulana Maulana Musa as General Secretary.

 At the end of the meeting, the end of the meeting was announced through prayers and supplications for the welfare of the country, nation and Islam.
