Tragic death of a housewife after being hit by a train at Atrai in Naogaon

The wife of an expatriate named Rupali (35) died when she was hit by a train at Atrai in Naogaon district. She is the wife of Khairul Islam, a Saudi expatriate from Dhulauri village in Panchupur union of the upazila.

The incident took place at Thaipara on the Rajshahi-bound Barindra Express train from Chilahati at 11am on Wednesday, September 29.

Ahsanganj Railway Station Master Saiful Islam said he was killed when he fell under the Rajshahi-bound Barindra Express train from Chilahati at around 11am.

Police recovered the body from the spot and took it to Santahar GRP police station.
