Top Rohingya leader Muhibullah shot dead by terrorists

Rohingya leader Muhibullah was shot dead by miscreants at Kutupalong in Ukhia, Cox's Bazar. He was chairman of the Arakan Rohingya Society for Peace and Human Rights.
The incident took place around 8:30 pm on Wednesday (September 29) inside a Rohingya camp in Lombashia, Kutupalong.
SP Naimul Haque, commander of the 14th Armed Police Battalion, confirmed the matter.
He said unidentified gunmen opened fire on Rohingya leader Muhibullah in the D block of Kutupalong Camp No. 1. He was seriously injured. He was later taken to MSF Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
Another Rohingya leader, Dil Mohammad, said, "Unidentified gunmen fired five rounds at him while he was in his office after Esha prayers." Muhibullah was shot in the chest and died.
The deceased Muhibullah was the chairman of the Arakan Rohingya Society for Peace and Human Rights. He was instrumental in the Rohingya repatriation process.
