Billal Hossain, a teacher at Shahbazpur South Primary School, has said that Rina Begumk, wife of journalist Md. Delwar Hossain, a resident of Shahbazpur village in Nabinagar upazila of Brahmanbaria district, and Monowara Begum of the same village have died after updating the voter list.

The teacher, who was given the responsibility by the Election Commission office to update the voter list, has continued the task of updating the voter list at home without going home.

There are multiple such allegations against him, the most serious allegation being made by Md. Delwar Hossain's wife Rina Begum. He complained that when I arrived at the time of distribution of the smart card before the Corona period, the smart card distributors informed me that your card had not arrived by mistake, you will be informed when the card arrives later. But when I went to register the corona ticker with the old NID card, the card looked useless, so I told my husband about it.

In this situation, it was not possible to talk to the teacher Billal Hossain when he contacted him.

Monwara Begum, wife of the late Abdul Motalib, another complainant from the same village, told reporters on Friday, September 18, "Billal Hossain showed me the information of my death without meeting me, which resulted in the closure of my government old age allowance. I demand exemplary punishment."

In this regard, the Election Commission official Azgar Ali said that the teacher Billal Hossain and teacher Kausarul Alam gave wrong information, I see the matter.

Saidul Khokon, a local resident, said Billal used to ask people to go to his house and update the voter list, adding that those who did not go to his house had made many mistakes.

Local UP member Abul Khair said, "Journalist Delwar, my school friend, his wife is dead. I don't know. It is the negligence of teacher Billal Hossain. I am demanding justice through a fair and impartial investigation."

Upazila Education Officer Mokaram Hossain said the matter is very sad, I will talk to the Upazila Election Officer to resolve the issue.

When Rina Begum was called on her mobile phone, her husband Md. Delwar Hossain said, "I will file a case in the court if necessary to bring the accused teacher Billal Hossain under the law."

Nabinagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ekramul Siddique said, "I am looking into the matter."

Chairman of Shyamgram Union Parishad Amir Hossain Babul said, "The matter is very sad. I will do my best to resolve it."
