In Mohanganj of Netrokona, the Consumer Rights Protection Department has fined six companies for selling priceless, expired products and not having a price list.
The operation was carried out by the Consumer Rights Protection Department in the municipal area of the upazila on Tuesday afternoon.

At that time 6 companies were fined a total of 41 thousand rupees.
Md. Shah Alam said those companies were fined for selling priceless, expired products and not having a price list.
The fined companies are Haimanti Store, Ma Manorama Confectionery Store, Arif Store, Seba Medical Hall, Sirajul Islam's Grocery Store, Mollah Enterprise, Roy Store and Talukdar Medical Hall.
District Agriculture Marketing Officer Md. Habiluddin and Mohanganj Upazila Sanitary Inspector Shambhunath Sarkar and a team from District Police Line assisted in the operation.
