Corona management in Bangladesh is being praised in the world - Naogaon Food Minister

Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder, who arrived in Naogaon on a seven-day visit, said not a single person died of starvation during the Corona period in the country. The Prime Minister has given financial incentives to people of all classes and professions of the society during the Corona period. Bangladesh's corona management is being praised in the world.
He said this at a public meeting of Bahadurpur Union Awami League in Niamatpur upazila of Naogaon on Tuesday.
The minister said the government has taken various steps for the development of farmers. Farmers do not lack fertilizers, seeds and electricity. Farmers are getting fair price of paddy. During the Corona period, rice has been given at Tk. 10 under the food-friendly program.
He further said that grassroots workers are the lifeblood of Awami League. During the transition of the team, they have come forward again and again. Elections of different unions of this upazila will be held in a few days. Whoever gets the nomination, the leaders and workers have to work in unison for the victory of the boat candidate.
Bahadurpur Union Chairman Mamunur Rashid presided over the meeting while Niamatpur Upazila Chairman Farid Ahmed, Upazila Awami League President Abul Kalam Azad, Vice-President Ishwar Chandra Barman and General Secretary Zahid Hasan Biplob also spoke.
