 The trainees spontaneously participated in a two-day training on child marriage prevention law in Guimaras for Qazis, imams, guardians and civil society representatives, as well as elected representatives.

Guimara Upazila Parishad Chairman Ushyepru Marma conducted a two-day training organized by Guimara Upazila Parishad and Women's Affairs Officer, Upazila Parishad (Women and Child Development Committee), Upazila Management and Development Project, Department of Tolerant Government and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). .

Guimara Government Model High School auditorium on Sunday (September 27) at 11 a.m., Guimara Upazila Women's Affairs Officer Mosha: Hasina Akter and Upazila Women's Vice Chairman Jharna Tripura presided over the ceremony as a special guest, Guimara Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Mizanur, Health Complex doctor Khairul Alam, JICA representative Runi Chakma, Guimara High School headmaster Bablu Hossain. The latest Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tushar Ahmed appeared among the trainees and raised issues related to the prevention of child marriage.



Guimara Upazila Chairman Ushyepru Marma, who was the chief guest at the training program, elaborated on the evils of child marriage and said that in order to discourage child marriage, everyone in the society should be aware and responsible and cooperate.

Speaking as the special guest, Guimara Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Mizanur Rahman elaborated on the details of the Child Marriage Act and said that the family must first be aware of the implementation of the Child Marriage Act.

A total of 180 trainees including 60 people on the first day and 60 people on the second day took part in the two-day training.
