Detained with domestic weapons in Naogaon Manda-2

 Police have arrested two people in Naogaon's Manda on the basis of secret information.

The arrested are Habibur Rahman, 56, son of late Fayez Uddin of South Mainam village and Helal Hossain, 32, son of Habibur Rahman.

Manda Police Station OC (Investigation) Mehedi Masud said a special operation was conducted at Sharirmore in Mainam Union of the upazila on Friday afternoon on the basis of secret information.

Several local sharp weapons, including samurai, hasuya, sulfi and fala, were recovered from a shop. A case has been filed against the detainees under the Arms Act.

Asked about the incident, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Manda Police Station Shahinur Rahman confirmed the incident and said that two persons have been detained for questioning including recovery of domestic weapons from the shop. Necessary action will be taken against the culprits as per the law.
