Police have recovered the body of a young man who was strangled at Dighinala in Khagrachhari. He was hanging from a tree at Amtala in the orphanage area of ​​Madhya Boalkhali (Paschimpara) in the upazila on Saturday night.

According to local sources, the deceased was identified as Shahadat Hossain, 22, son of Abu Hanif of the same area.

Dighinala Police Station OC AKM Peer Ahmed said necessary steps would be taken at the end of the investigation

He said the body would be sent to the District Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
