 Refugee Task Force Chairman Kujendra Lal Tripura MP said public awareness is the main tool to prevent corona. So, not out of fear of the administration, but to save lives, to save the family, through joint efforts, Corona came forward to prevent the spread of Corona and emphasized on following the rules to prevent the spread.

He was speaking as the chief guest while distributing food gifts to unemployed people at Mahalchhari, Dighinala and Panchhari upazilas of Khagrachhari on Wednesday (July 6, 2021). He also said that Bangladesh Awami League is playing a leading role in tackling the epidemic like all other crises in the country. He said that he will keep it in future also.

Among the gifts of the Prime Minister, food items are being given to 350 families in Mahalchhari, 850 families in Dighinala and 600 families in Panchhari. Each family was given 10 kg of rice, 1 kg of pulses, 1 kg of onion, 1 kg of salt, 1 kg of soybean oil and 2 kg of potatoes. It is said that this trend will continue.

Khagrachhari District Council Chairman Mangsuipru Chowdhury Apu, Khagrachhari District Awami League General Secretary Nirmalendu Chowdhury, Awami League leader and District Council member Mankyaching Chowdhury, Ed. Ashutosh Chakma, Khokneshwar Tripura, Perth Tripura Jewel, Shubh Mangal Chakma, Shatarupa Chakma, Awami League leader Chandan Kumar Dey, Khagrachhari Sadar Upazila Awami League general secretary Bisjit Roy Das, district Juba League general secretary Ismail Hossain, district Juba Mahila Awami League leader Farzana Leaders and activists including Azam, District Chhatra League convener Ubik Mohan Tripura were present.

Besides, Mahalchhari Upazila Awami League President Ratan Kumar Shil, Dighinala Upazila Awami League President and Upazila Chairman Mohammad Kashem, Panchhari Upazila Awami League General Secretary Vijay Kumar Dev and other party leaders and activists took part in the relief distribution.
