A businessman with foreign weapons and ammunition was arrested in Naogaon

RAB has arrested an arms dealer named Mizan Sheikh with a foreign pistol, a shooter gun and six rounds of ammunition in Manda of Naogaon district.
RAB-5 Natore Camp arrested him from the side of Jyoti Cold Storage in Kittali village of the upazila around 1am on Monday, July 13.
The arrested Mizan Sheikh is the son of late Abul Hossain of Prasadpur Bagdoa village under Gomstapur police station of Chapainawabganj district.
This information was given in a press release sent from RAB-5 CPC-2 at 10:30 am on Tuesday, July 13.
According to a press release, RAB-5 Natore Camp Company Commander Major Sanaria Chowdhury and Company Deputy Commander Additional Superintendent of Police Farhad Hossain led the operation at Mandar Kittali village around 1pm on Monday.
Mizan Sheikh was arrested along with a foreign pistol, a magazine, a shooter gun and six rounds of ammunition from the side of Jyoti Cold Storage in Kittali village.
Mizan Sheikh initially admitted that he had illegally seized the seized firearms from an unknown location and kept them in his custody for sale. Mizan Sheikh is an arms dealer. He had been buying and selling weapons for a long time.
Manda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahinur Rahman said a case has been filed with the police station over the matter. The accused was sent to jail through the court on Tuesday.
