Inauguration of second phase of land and housing program for landless and homeless families in Ranishankail

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the second phase of "Land and Housing Program for Landless Families" on the occasion of Mujib Year through a video conference. The house was provided with land deeds and the chief guest was Additional Deputy Commissioner Kamrun Nahar.

Former Member of Parliament Yasin Ali, Awami League President Saidul Haque, Municipal Mayor Mostafizur Rahman, Awami League Secretary Tajuddin Ahmed, Women Vice Chairman Sefali Begum, Municipal Awami League President Jahangir Alam Sarkar, Police Station OC SM Zahid Iqbal were present on the occasion. , Agriculture Officer Krishibid Sanchay Debnath, P.O. Officer Dr. Abdus Samad Chowdhury, Women's Affairs Officer Abida Sultana, Bir Muktijoddha Habibur, Prosclub Founder President Prof. Anwarul Islam, Press Club Puratan President Kusmat Ali and Editor Safiqul Islam Shilpi, Press Club President Faruk Ahmed , Concerned tehsildar Zahirul Islam, etc. Besides, the chairmen of 6 unions, officials and employees of different departments and journalists in print and electronic media were present. The program was organized by Assistant Agriculture Officer Sadequl Islam.

Note that in the second phase of landless and homeless in Bangladesh, 53,340 families have been provided houses with land. In this context, 298 families of 8 unions in this upazila were provided houses with land. The victims Sabuj Chandra, Dinobala, Hasmat and Argina, who got houses in the first and first phase, are happy and thankful to the Prime Minister for getting land with such houses.
