A Proud Moment for Bangladesh on London Soil: Daughter of Italy-Based Expatriate Shaheen Khalil Kawsar Shines Internationally

Shaheen Khalil Kawsar, a Bangladesh expatriate living in Italy, has long been working as a strong voice for the Bangladeshi community abroad as a representative of G-TV Italy. Alongside his career in journalism, he has successfully managed his own business ventures in Italy and has been actively leading various social, cultural, and humanitarian initiatives within the Bangla community.

His younger daughter, Shaorin Kawsar Mim, who was born and raised in Italy, completed her school and college education there before moving to London on a scholarship. She successfully completed her undergraduate studies in Aeronautical Engineering from Kingston University in 2024. Recently, she achieved yet another milestone by completing her Master’s degree with distinction from the prestigious Kingston University, London.

To mark this significant achievement, the university organized a grand convocation and certificate award ceremony. The event was attended by renowned philosophers, professors, intellectuals, high-ranking state officials of the United Kingdom, students from various countries, and their families.

Present at this proud moment were Shaorin Kawsar Mim’s father Shaheen Khalil Kawsar, her mother Akhi Sima Kawsar, elder sister Sadma Kawsar Purnita, and younger brother Sadman Kawsar Arian.

Overwhelmed with emotion, the parents were visibly moved—tears of joy in their eyes and smiles of deep satisfaction on their faces. For any parent, such an achievement by their child is undoubtedly one of life’s greatest rewards.

When asked about her future plans, newly graduated master’s student Shaorin Kawsar Mim confidently stated that she aims to pursue a PhD and contribute to global knowledge through advanced research.

Currently, she is professionally engaged in the field of Aeronautical Engineering in London, a testament to her talent, perseverance, and internationally recognized competence.

Shaorin Kawsar Mim’s journey proves that Bangladeshi children, no matter where they live in the world, can establish themselves on the global stage through proper guidance, strong family support, hard work, and self-confidence.
