New Horizons for Bangladeshi Business in Italy: "CIM Supermarket" Inaugurated in Rome
Minhaj Hossain, Special Correspondent:
The number of Bangladeshi-owned businesses is growing steadily in Rome, the capital of Italy. The latest addition to this trend is the newly inaugurated "CIM Supermarket," a modern supermarket launched through the joint venture of Bangladeshi entrepreneurs Abu Sohag and Shahidul Gazi Bipul.
The supermarket offers a wide variety of products, including fresh vegetables, local fruits, halal meat, fresh fish imported from Bangladesh, and various daily necessities for expatriates. The supermarket has already received a great response from the Bangladeshi community abroad.
The inauguration ceremony was well-attended by prominent members of the local Bangladeshi community, businessmen, and general expatriates. Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of not only making Bangladeshi products easily accessible but also of expanding and ensuring the success of Bangladeshi business ventures abroad.
CIM Supermarket is not just a business; it is also seen as an initiative to preserve the taste of home and national culture among expatriates.
