Zia Manch Committee Announced and Introduced in Debidwar

 Debidwar, Cumilla (Special Correspondent Md. Al-Amin):

A meeting to introduce and announce the newly formed Upazila and Municipal committees of "Zia Manch" was held in Debidwar, Cumilla.

The introductory meeting took place on Saturday, August 16, at 3 p.m. in the auditorium of former MP Engineer Manjurul Ahsan Munshi’s residence in Gunaighar, located in the municipality.

Presided over by Mohsin Chowdhury, the newly appointed Convener of the Zia Manch Debidwar Upazila committee, the event featured Barrister Rizviul Ahsan Munshi, former Joint General Secretary of Cumilla North District BNP, as the chief guest. Md. Anwar Hossain, Co-Organizing Secretary of the Central Committee of Zia Manch and head of the Chittagong Division, was the main speaker.

The meeting was moderated by Imran Shikdar, Joint General Secretary of the newly formed Zia Manch Debidwar Upazila committee. Special guests included BNP leader Abul Kalam Azad; Sufia Begum, President of Cumilla North District Mohila Dal; Md. Arifur Rahman, Convener of Zia Manch Cumilla North District; Md. Rashed, Member Secretary; Md. Borhan Uddin, Convener of Cumilla Metropolitan; Syed Fazle Rabbi (Rajib), Member Secretary; and Md. Sadek Hossain, Convener of Zia Manch Cumilla South District.

Also present were Md. Shah Alam Beg, Mosammat Iti Akhter, Md. Shahjahan, Md. Azad Mia, Md. Rubel, and Al-Amin Bahar, all Joint Conveners of Zia Manch Cumilla North District. Additionally, Md. Abdul Quader, Member Secretary of Zia Manch Debidwar Thana, and Md. Abu Sayeed Molla, Municipal Convener, were in attendance.

The Zia Manch Debidwar Upazila committee was announced with Mohsin Chowdhury as Convener and Abdul Quader as Member Secretary, comprising 49 members. The municipal committee was announced with Abu Sayeed Molla as Convener and Kawsar Ullah as Member Secretary, comprising 51 members. The committees were officially announced by Md. Anwar Hossain, Co-Organizing Secretary of the Central Committee of Zia Manch.
