Remarkable Success of Bangladeshi Students in Cambridge Curriculum in Italy

 Minhaj Hossain, Special Correspondent:

Students from The European International School and College have achieved remarkable success in the Cambridge O-Level examinations. The school, established by Bangladeshis in Rome, made a record by achieving a 100% pass rate in 2025.

To celebrate this milestone, the school administration organized a felicitation ceremony on Tuesday, August 26. The event, held on the school's premises, was attended by the Chairman of the institution, Haji Jasim Uddin, along with other members of the governing body, teachers, parents, prominent community members, and a large number of students.

Parents expressed their happiness with the students' success and praised the institution. They said, "Today's success is not just for the students, but a combined achievement of the teachers, parents, and the entire institution."

In a vox pop, parents shared their joy and appreciation.

Ahmed Mehrin secured the top position by breaking the 20-year record for the highest score in the Cambridge curriculum. Abdullah Al Noman, the Head of the Education Department, was named the school's best teacher.

The Chairman of the institution, in his speech, stated, "The students have proven that with talent, perseverance, and proper guidance, it is possible to achieve the highest level of international success even while living abroad. Their achievement is a source of pride not only for our school but also for Bangladesh."

Bangladeshi expatriates believe that this remarkable success of the students will open new doors for higher education for the next generation in Italy. They hope this will lead to many more achievements on the international stage in the future, further brightening Bangladesh's name globally.
