Memorandum given to teachers of Islamic Foundation through DCs along with Chief Advisor

Teachers of Darul Arqam Ibtedayi Madrasa of Islamic Foundation submitted memorandum to the district administrators nationwide along with the Chief Advisor.

In a statement on Sunday 25 May afternoon, Central President of Teachers' Association, Mufti Zainul Abedin gave this information.

The sources say, officers, teachers and office assistants are not getting pay-allowance for the last 5 months since January 2025 as the one thousand ten Darul Arqam Ibtedayi Madrasa projects conducted by the Islamic Foundation under the Ministry of Religion were delayed in the second phase of approval.

Their family didn't feel happiness during last Ramadan's Eid. Families and children of teachers and support staff will be deprived of the happiness of Eid if they do not get salary and allowance before the upcoming Qurbani Eid.

So 'Bangladesh Darul Arqam Teachers Welfare Association' submitted memorandum along with Chief Advisor today under the serial program demanding fast project approval and paying salary-allowance before upcoming Eid-ul-Adha.

Earlier, teachers were deprived of a full-year salary allowance due to delay in project approval in 2020. Why weren't the salary allowance given while working, no reply was found.

Yet all the teachers during Corona have made significant contribution by providing countrywide corona patients service, respectfully bathing of corona dead bodies, funeral, burial and rescue in flood affected areas, providing emergency relief and traffic services across the country including Dhaka in traffic-free condition after August 5. Scholars gathered many praises as viral news in various online news portals including social media.

An online public opinion of the project a few days ago set the record of the highest number of positive views in the history of the Islamic Foundation in 2025.

Furtherwise, the project budget finance ministry has been stuck due to no meeting of Jan Ball even after approving the project budget money.

Teachers and office assistant staff working in the project demanded to pay all salaries including arrears before upcoming Eid by approving the project.

Teachers and office assistant staffs of IFA's Darul Arqam Madrasa project are living humanitarian life without getting salary, they said; such discrimination is not desirable.

Mufti Zainul Abedin, Central President of Bangladesh Darul Arqam Teachers Welfare Association said on this, last Thursday, we submitted the memorandum to the Director General of Islamic Foundation demanding 4 phases including due salary-bonus, quick project pass.

The demands are -

1. Fast approval of Darul Arqam Ibtedayi Madrasa management and synchronization project second phase.

2. Paying five months salary and bonus for teachers and practice staff before upcoming Eid-ul-Adha from January 2025.

3. Existing teachers and staff to the second phase of the project automatically deployment and

4. The project paying one year arrears including salary-bonus for teachers working in 2020.

At the time Bangladesh Darul Arqam Teachers Welfare Committee President Mufti Zainul Abedin, General Secretary Mufti Munawar Hossain, Senior Vice President Mufti Nazmul Huda Qasemi, Maulana Abul Khair Nomani, Maulana Yasin Ali, along with General Secretary Maulana Al Amin, Joint General Secretary Maulana Ahmad Kabir, Maulana Muniruzzaman, Maulana Mozamm Islam, Journalist Hafez Maulana Sakhawat Hossain, Maulana Lutfar Rahman, Maulana Shahidul Islam, Maulana Maulana Mahfuzur Rahman, Maulana Sirajul Islam, Journalist Maulana A. Representatives of all districts including Rajjak were present.

The Islamic Foundation sources know about this, there is no meeting of Jonbol yet, after that, preecnek. The project will come up next.
