Secretly leased land trees sold in Badalgachi; Van, wood and creek detained.

Badalgachi Union Land Office has detained 3 vans, mango trees and creek in Badalgachi, Naogaon while selling trees secretly from leased land.

Tree wood and creek were brought to the Union Land Office after detention. Although the trees were recovered, the sub-division land office has not taken any measures in mysterious way against the people involved.

Earlier, on Wednesday 9th April, the Badalgachi Union Land Office recovered while selling wholesale trees from a special place from Parsombari market and did not take action even after 3 days.

Yesterday, on Friday 11th April, we raided the Kadibari pond of Badalgachi Sadar Union and recovered the woods and puddles of trees from the land taken by Qutubuddin lease.

While collecting information, the locals of Kadibari village informed that this land is VP property. People living on this pondside live here with lease. Many people have bought land but they do not leave this place. Many who lived before have already sold trees. This Qutubuddin has been selling about 7/8 different species of plants next to the house last year. There was no benefit in informing the matter of Badalgachi Union Land Office.

The Union Land Office said, the wood from the Piker tree was detained last Wednesday and the wood and creek of the mango tree were detained yesterday Friday.

Mizanur Rahman, a union land assistant officer of Badalgachi, said 3 vans of mango wood and creek were recovered from Kadibari village, after receiving news of sale of trees from the leased VP land. The issue has been informed to Esiland sir.

Upazilla Assistant Land Commissioner Atia Khatun said that the information about selling trees secretly and leased VP has been recovered from the land. Those involved in the sale of tree are asked to come to the office tomorrow Sunday.
