Maldives is the lowest country in the world, an auction of natural beauty. In this small country, there are more than a million expatriate Bangladeshis in business and various sectors. Politicians and expatriate Bangladeshis organize various events in festive environment along with employment on foreign soil. Maldives branch BNP organizes Iftar Mahfil in honor of expatriates on the occasion of holy month of Ramadan.
Iftar and Dua Mehfil was held at an elite restaurant in Manhatal Fish Market in the Maldives capital on Tuesday (18 March). Participated there Maldives BNPO Organization and various class of professionals, teachers, doctors, bank officials, US Bangla officials, politicians, businessmen, civil society and expatriate professionals.
The party's Vice-President Emran Hossain Talukdar and Joint General Secretary Md. Rabiul Alam presided over by BNP Maldives branch president Md. Khalilur Rahman virtually gave an important and directional speech from London as the chief guest at the Iftar ceremony of the party's Central Committee International Affairs Secretary Anwar Hossain Khokan. He thanked the event organizing committee in his speech and called on the chief adviser to quickly approach the important and necessary reforms to bring back peace and order in the country.
