Comilla 4 Newly elected Member of Parliament of Debidwar, former upazila chairman, respected director of Dhaka Group, distinguished industrialist Mr. Abul Kalam Azad (MP) was given a victory reception on behalf of Debidwar Pravasi Kalyan Forum (Maldives) on his personal visit to Maldives with his family.

Last January 18, every Thursday at 8:30 PM local time, Malé, the capital of the Maldives

  The reception was held in the hall room of C building.

Under the chairmanship of prominent Maldivian businessman and newly-elected CIP Mr. Masood Rana, expatriate journalist and founder convener of Madina Jamaat Maldivian branch Md. Al Amin, Mr. Abul Kalam Azad MP was the chief guest of the event. Secretary (Labour) Md. Sohail Parvesh, General Secretary of Maldives Awami League Md. Dulal Hossain, Ms. Sadia Sabah (Azad) and Md. Tasfin Sa'ad and Adviser Journalist Alhaj Mamunur Rashid of Debidwar Press Club.

The member of the program implementation committee is businessman Md Farooq Molla. CIP Masud Rana journalist Al Amin Md Nashir Hossain Parvez Md Motaleb Md Kader Hossain and Md Kabir Hossain organized the event as a guest. NBL Money Transfer Local (Maldives) Director Hannan Khan Kabir and CEO Md Masudur Rahman, businessman Mohammad Mojibur Rahman businessman Md Monir Hossain. Businessman Mohammad Hadiul Islam, businessman Md Alamgir Shikdar Md Qayyum MKR Kamal Hossain etc. At the beginning of the ceremony, Hafez Maulana Morshed Alam recited from the Holy Quran and Maulana Tajul Islam, former president of Madinah Jamaat Maldwip branch, led the prayer at the end of the ceremony. The organizing committee members of the event led by businessman Farooq Mollah and CIP Masud Rana welcomed the guests with flowers and presented them with mementos. The expatriates approached the local public representatives in far away places and presented their various demands and the MP assured to fulfill their demands. In this festive atmosphere, numerous expatriate guests including leaders of local social, political, business and cultural organizations walked in the reception. The reception eventually turned into a gathering of expatriates.
