Mohini Bala of Jaipurhat cut a cake for her 106th birthday.

Mohni Bala Mohinibala, a resident of Sadar Upazila Professor Para in Joypurhat district, turned one hundred and six on January 1, 2024. A cake was cut at seven o'clock on Monday to mark his birth anniversary with fanfare at his residence. She was born in 1918 in Rajshahi district then married to Pran Krishna in Jaipurhat district.

She is the mother of seven children in her married life. Four boys and three girls. Elder son Dulal Chandra Sarkar is a Modi businessman by profession and younger son Robin Chandra Sarkar is also a Modi businessman by profession at Jaipurhat Bairagi Mor. Her younger son Robin Sarkar mainly takes care of his mother's maintenance and services. Shri Rabin Sarkar says I want to devote my life to the service of mother as long as she is alive.

Robin Sarkar's friend Polly Rani says I take care of my mother-in-law as best I can, I know I too will grow old like that one day. So he is our elder and it is my sole duty to serve him. Russell, a teacher who is a neighbor of Mohni Bala, said, "I like seeing Robin Sarkar and his wife taking care of his mother firsthand.
