Distribution of blankets among children and students in Pirganj

Blankets have been distributed among the poor, helpless children students in Pirganj of Thakurgaon. On Sunday morning, with the help of Eastern Bank Limited, a voluntary organization named Adolescents Welfare Network distributed these blankets in the premises of Pirganj Narayanpur Sheikhpara Government Primary School. Pirganj Upazila Education Officer Habibul Islam, Assistant Upazila Education Officer Sultan Al Razi, Vice Principal Faizul Islam, Head Teacher Delwara Begum, Assistant Shirin Begum, Kedar Chandra Roy, Shah Alam, Nazmun Nahar, Samsad Alam and others were present as the chief guests. Officials and staff and students were present.

Vice-principal Faizul Islam said in his speech that at the end of Poush month, winter has caught everyone in Konkan due to the force of cold wind. People's life is frozen in cold and fog. Helpless children have overcome the severity of winter. As a result, there is disruption in their studies. Eastern Bank Limited stood by the side of the social responsibility to give warmth to these helpless children who are cold.
