International Anti-Corruption Day celebrated in Pirganj

The International Anti-Corruption Day was celebrated in Pirganj of Thakurgaon with the theme 'We are united against corruption for development, peace and security'. On Saturday, the upazila administration and upazila anti-corruption committee organized the upazila administration and the upazila anti-corruption committee, along with national and ACC flag hoisting, festoon-balloon flying, human chain and discussion meeting were held on Saturday. Upazila Executive Officer Shahriar Nazir announced the auspicious opening of the International Anti-Corruption Day by placing a banner with anti-corruption slogans at the Upazila Parishad Gate at 6:30 a.m., hoisting the national flag and ACC flag in front of the Upazila Parishad auditorium, flying festoon-balloons and announcing the auspicious opening of the International Anti-Corruption Day. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shahriar Nazir hoisted the national flag and ACC flag was hoisted by Musa Sarkar, President of the Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee. Later, public representatives, government officials, upazila anti-corruption committee members, NGO workers, women workers and scouts and members of BNCC participated in the anti-corruption human chain held in front of the upazila parishad. Upazila Parishad Chairman Akhtarul Islam, Upazila Executive Officer Shahriar Nazir, Press Club President Zainal Abedin Babul, General Secretary Mokaddes Hayat Milan etc. spoke at the discussion meeting held in the Upazila Parishad Auditorium under the chairmanship of Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee President Musa Sarkar.
