Anshan Command protests demanding restoration of 30% freedom fighter quota in all jobs

The brave freedom fighters and the children of freedom fighters from all over the country held a huge protest march and human chain program at the initiative of Bangladesh Hero Freedom Fighters Command Central Committee to demand the reinstatement of the 30% quota given by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in recognition of their contribution in the Great Freedom War. At the end of the programme, the Prime Minister handed over the memorandum to the Ministry of Liberation War, Central Committee.

On Wednesday (September 27), a human chain-street meeting and protest program was held at Shahbag intersection in the capital Dhaka.

Bangladesh Bir Muktijoddha Children Command central president Mizanur Rahman presided over the human chain and spoke as the chief guest at the road meeting. .

After the road meeting, the program ended with a protest march from Shahbagh to the National Press Club. At the end of the protest march, the central president of Bangladesh Bir Muktijoddha Ishin Command Mizanur Rahman and general secretary Haji Yachin Akande led the leaders of the central committee handed over the memorandum to the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs with the demand for restoration of 30% freedom fighter quota to the Prime Minister.

In this regard, the President of the Central Committee of the Bangladesh Hero Freedom Fighters Command. Mizanur Rahman told this representative, "30% quota is the gift of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the Kota nation, the right of the children of Kota freedom fighters". I strongly demand the honorable Prime Minister Jannetri Sheikh Hasina and all concerned to issue a notification by maintaining full quota of 30% in all jobs.
