5 people arrested including drug dealers in Pirganj

A drug dealer named Montaj Ali with drugs and 4 arrest warrant defendants were arrested and sent to jail in Pirganj of Thakurgaon.

Abdul Latif Sheikh, OC of Pirganj police station, said that the police arrested a drug dealer named Montaj Ali along with 14 pieces of Ibaya during a raid in Panuapara of Tour city on Friday night. Montaj was arrested a few days ago with drugs by police. After getting bail from the court, he got involved in drug business again. Montaj is the son of deceased Dulal of Raghunathpur village. Meanwhile, the police arrested the accused Anarul Islam, Mahabub Hasan Sani, Himu and Munna, who were issued arrest warrants by the court, in various areas of the upazila on Monday. They have been sent to jail.
