National Mourning Day celebrated in Joypurhat with due dignity: Free Medical Camp of BGB

The 48th martyrdom anniversary and National Mourning Day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was celebrated in Joypurhat with due dignity. On the other hand, a free medical camp was held under the initiative of 20 BGBs on this occasion.

The program was started by placing wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu at Martyr Doctor Abul Kashem Maidan in the city on Tuesday at 9 am.

At this time, the member of Parliament of Joypurhat - 1 Constituency, Adv. Shamsul Alam Dudu, Deputy Commissioner Salehin Tanveer Gazi, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Noore Alam, Sadar Upazila Chairman SM Solaiman Ali, Municipal Mayor Mostafizur Rahman Mostak along with District Freedom Fighters Command, District Awami League, various social and cultural organizations.

On the other hand, at 8 am organized by Joypurhat 20 BGB, medicine was distributed among about 200 poor and helpless people in the free medical camp at TMSS school and college premises of the city.

These were distributed by Masudur Rahman, deputy commander of 20 BGB. Naik Subedar Saidul Bari, Jaipurhat District Modern Hospital Doctor Khadija Akhter and others were with him at this time.
