The tragic death of a CNG driver after being hit by a pickup in Naogaon

A CNG driver was killed after being hit by a pickup truck at Deluabari bus stand in Manda upazila of Naogaon district.

The accident took place at Deluabari bus stand of Manda upazila at around 6 am on Tuesday, June 27.

The deceased CNG driver Azizul Haque (50) is said to be the son of deceased Khalilur Rahman of Bara Bangram Kharali Para of Shahmakhdum Police Station in Rajshahi District.

  Locals said that the deceased was alighted from the CNG car at Deluabari bus stand of Azizul Upazila when a pickup truck headed towards Rajshahi hit him hard. He was killed on the spot. Locals arrested the killer driver Masud Rana in this incident. After receiving the information, the police went to the spot and recovered the body and brought it to the police station.

Manda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nure-A Alam Siddique said that after receiving the information, the police went to the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Naogaon Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
