Eleven drug dealers were arrested in a police raid in Dhamirhat, Naogaon

Dhamirhat Thana police arrested eleven people including drug dealers in a raid by the police in Dhamirhat of Naogaon district.

Rafiqul Islam's son Arif Hossain was arrested with 10 pitch tapentadol from Banshibati area of Dhamirhat upazila yesterday.

Also, the accused in various cases are Sanaul Islam, son of deceased Khabir of Agradvigun village, Rabiul Islam, son of Najimuddin of Dakshin Chakadu village, Michael Mardy, son of Robert Mardy, Smt. Anasta, wife of Michael Mardy, Taapsee Rabeya, wife of Helal Hossain, Rehena, wife of Dulal Hossain, wife of Belal Hossain. Tuhinur Begum, and Dulal son of deceased Lal Mohammad, Habibur Rahman son of deceased Tajem Uddin and Anand Pahan son of deceased Biren Pahan of Mahisantosh village were arrested.

Dhamirhat Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mozammel Haque Kazi said that there were warrants for various cases against the arrested ten people and a drug dealer, all those arrested have been sent to Naogaon Court and according to the instructions of the Naogaon Superintendent of Police to keep the law and order situation normal ahead of Eid. Special operations continue.
