On Tuesday (February 7) at 11.30 a.m. in the seminar of the Faculty of Commerce, researcher Samshad Naureen said that tourism in Bangladesh depends on nature, therefore climate is an influential regulator in tourism.

As a result of climate change, the temperature is increasing, resulting in various natural disasters including temperature, resulting in financial risks in tourism. Investors in tourism are suffering. Tourism is a financially lucrative sector so we need to plan for the long term. He collected primary and secondary data in the research work. For second stage information and data, Bangladesh Bank, Government Bank, Private Bank and Investor collect financial information from various financial institutions.

Bangladesh Tourism Corporation for tourism data, IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change) for climate data. To collect primary data, he went directly to Cox's Bazar, Patuakhali and Satkhira districts and interviewed everyone related to tourism and climate.

He thinks that among the three districts, Cox's Bazar district is more vulnerable. On the other hand, Patuakhali and Satkhira districts are almost risk-free. For this reason, these two districts of Patuakhali and Satkhira need to be invested more and more. Investors can take risks if they are given financial support. Eco-friendly and risk-free tourism requires long-term planning in which cooperation between government and non-governmental organizations is required.
