Expatriate Bangladeshis of all ages rejoice in this festival.Even in the busy expatriate life, expatriate women attend the festival with basanti-colored sarees, forehead tips, bangles on hands, nupras on feet, and various flowers on their heads.
Entertainment-loving expatriate Bangladeshi artists showcased the country's cultural traditions in this spring festival by organizing various kinds of food, comedy, poetry recitation and pitha.
The organizers of such an exceptional and different festival in the diaspora said that by welcoming spring through creative programs, this event is mainly to make the long-standing cultural heritage of Bengalis unforgettable to the new generation in the diaspora.
