Annual General Meeting of Iqbra Foundation Khagrachari held

The annual general meeting of Iqbra Foundation Khagrachari, a traditional educational and service institution, was held.

This meeting was held today (18th February) Saturday morning at Hotel The Green Valley in Khagrachhari Bazar with recitation of Quran by Maulana Abdus Shakur.

  Maulana Mufti Mufti Imam Uddin Qasemi, President of the Foundation, and Maulana Nurul Kabir Arman, Organizing Secretary, Vice President of the Foundation Maulana Mufti Maqsudul Karim and Secretary Maulana Habibullah Jahangir addressed the meeting.

Maulana Rezaul Karim Misbah of Finance presented the annual report of Iqbra Foundation.

President's speech Maulana Mufti Imam Uddin Kasemi said, money plays a role of helping people to fulfill their morals and desires. Many people waste money on alcohol and immoral activities. We have to earn money in haram ways and spend it for the pleasure of Allah Almighty and the welfare of people.

Secretary's statement Maulana Habibullah Jahangir said, money is where people doubt. Therefore, we organize the annual general meeting every year to ensure the transparency and accountability of the foundation's accounts. So that the foundation's income-expenses and accounts do not match.

Later, the meeting was closed with prayers and prayers for the overall welfare of the country, nation and Muslim Ummah.
