A rally of the landless was held in Pirganj

With the promise of 'Mujib Centenary Pledge, establishing the right of the homeless and landless to special land', a meeting of the landless was held in Peerganj of Thakurgaon on the issue of land rights and agricultural land reform.

The gathering was held at Union Parishad Chattar on Thursday afternoon organized by Bhomraday Union Landless Coordination Parishad. In the meeting, the members of the public organization presented a memorandum to the Union Parishad Chairman with 3 points of demand. More than two hundred landless women and men participated in the rally.
