A rally of the landless was held in Pirganj

With the promise of 'Mujib centenary pledge, establish the right of the homeless and landless people to special land', a meeting of the landless people was held in Pirganj of Thakurgaon on the issue of land rights and agricultural land reform.

The rally was organized by the Hajipur Union Land Coordination Council of the upazila on Saturday afternoon at Union Parishad Chattar. In the meeting held under the chairmanship of Enamul Haque, Chairman of Land Coordination Council, Hajipur Union member Kamruzzaman Rahman, Pirganj Press Club President Joynal Abedin Babul, Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Mizanur Rahman reserved women UP member Lucky Akhter, Kamal Hossain Selina Begum, Union Secretary Mukul Hossain Roni, Kawsarul Alam, Regional Coordinator of Development Agency CDA, Avinash Chandra Roy, Chairman of Upazila Land Coordination Parishad, etc.

In the meeting, the members of the public organization presented a memorandum to the Union Parishad Chairman with 3 points of demand. More than one and a half hundred landless women and men participated in the rally.
