Sandeep Samiti formed in Italy for fair and impartial elections: call to action to protect interests of expatriates

Expatriate Bangladeshis have been living in Italy's capital Rome for almost three centuries and more. There are various human rights organizations including Bangladeshis, social, political, cultural organizations. Organizations that are a means of highlighting Bengali art and culture in diaspora.And so various social organizations are increasing day by day in Italy. On Tuesday, January 10, after the much-desired 30 years, the election of the Sandwip Samiti Italy was held. Sandeep Samiti Italy organized a free, fair and impartial election for the spontaneous participation of Sandip diaspora regardless of party affiliation. 17 post candidates have participated in this year's Sandwip Samiti elections. Voting continues from 9 am to 6 pm. The Election Commission said that more than two hundred votes have been lost.
The senior personalities of Sandwip were Chief Election Commissioner Mofizur Rahman, Md. Salim Chowdhury, Md. Yusuf, Munsi Belayet, Chief Coordinator Samchul Kabir, Election Management Sub-Committee Chiddik Mia, Moazzem Hossain, Shahidul Islam, Chaber Muhammad Jamal.
Among the community leaders who were present during the day-long election to observe the election were prominent community personalities GM Kibria, chairman of NRB Life Insurance Company, former president of Bangladesh Association Italy Noore Alam Siddiqui Bachchu, president of Bangladesh Association Italy Aftab Bepari along with Rome's regional, social, political, cultural and Top leaders of journalists' organizations.
The leaders applauded the election as the officers of Sandeep Samiti were elected in a democratic manner and they felt that such an arrangement would help the generations growing up in the diaspora to know about the democracy and voting rights of Bangladesh.
Chief Election Commissioner Mofizur Rahman, announcing the results after the election, said, "This is the first election of Sandwip Samiti Italy after 31 years through very transparent and fair voting.
He was very happy and thanked and thanked all Sandeep Basi for voting in an orderly manner. He also urged the newly formed and elected organization to unite and work for the development of expatriates. At this time, he announced the names of the elected president Mahabubul Mawla Nashir, senior vice president Zahirul Islam Shipan, general secretary Nurul Akhtar Jahangir, organizing secretary Md Akhtar Hossain, finance secretary Zafar Islam, information and publicity secretary Khairul Islam Jased, office secretary Mozammel Hossain. Chowdhury, Education and Technology Affairs Secretary Monir Hossain Jabed.
After the announcement, the candidates were very happy and asked for cooperation and prayers from everyone to protect the interests of the expatriates in the coming days and thanked and thanked all the expatriates who voted.
