In a protest letter, he said, the news published about me in those reports is completely false, fabricated, motivated and done out of personal grudge. As far as I know the disputed area is an enemy property. Sarkar Bahadur's case is going on in civil court with a local person regarding the said land. Sarkar Bahadur gave a check of 95 cents of land in the name of Gablu Chandra. Gablu Chandra transferred the said land to different people at different times. Mokleshar Rahman, son of the deceased Zain Uddin of Dangisara village of the upazila, received 3 centuries of land as a result of transfer. Rafiqul Islam got it from Mokleshar Rahman and built a house and has been in possession for a long time. In this situation, retired army soldier Humayun Kabir, son of deceased Khalilur Rahman of Pindira village, claimed as his own.
Shahidul Islam said, I have nothing to do with the said house. But due to personal outrage, the reporter made such a false, fabricated and motivated report like retired army personnel Humayun Kabir. None of those whose names were mentioned in the report made those comments. Even this reporter did not take any comment or opinion from me. In order to humiliate me socially, the reporter of those newspapers made these false, fabricated and baseless reports on his own. Which is outside mainstream journalism. Therefore, I strongly condemn and protest these false, fabricated, baseless and motivated reports. Along with this, I strongly demand the withdrawal of the report along with an apology for making these false, fabricated and baseless reports. Otherwise I will be forced to take legal action against those concerned.
