The boy who found the railway station in Pirganj is looking for his parents

A 10-year-old child was found in the area of Pirganj railway station of Thakurgaon. He said his name is Sohail. Mother's name is Kajli. Can't say father's name. Nothing can tell where it came from or where it will go. The house is steep. Can't name police station, district. A person named Sohail from the station area sheltered the child in his house at night when he saw him returning alone to the station area around 9:30 pm on Saturday night. On Sunday, various people including local councilor Mahfuz and the police station tried to inquire about the child's family. Locals including Councilor Mahfuz took the child to the Upazila Nirbahi Officer on Sunday evening without finding any trace of the family. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shahriar Nazeer took the child to his home and tried to entertain him in various ways including feeding him on the swing in the yard. When the child developed a mild cough for walking around alone, he was taken to Pirganj Hospital in a government vehicle and treated by the Upazila Nirbahi Officer. Resident Medical Officer of the hospital Dr. Abdur Rahman Sohan said that the child is fine. A little cold. no problem Medicines are given. Currently the child is in the custody of Mahfuz Councillor.
The child's parents or next of kin have been requested to contact the Pirganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shahriar Nazir said, it is believed that the child came to Pirganj station by train from Dhaka. The matter has been informed to the district administration. A decision regarding the child will be taken in a meeting on Monday.
