Suicide of drug addicted youth in Pirganj

Limon Sarkar Pirganj (Thakurgaon) Correspondent: A young man who lost his mental balance after taking drugs committed suicide by hanging himself in Pirganj of Thakurgaon. The incident took place in Bairchuna village of the upazila on Monday evening. When she returned home, her mother called Nirmal and found the door and window closed. But when there was no response, he broke the door and entered to find Nirmal hanging from the wall with a towel and a noose around his neck. Later Nirmal's body was exhumed in the presence of police station OC Jahangir Alam

Nirmal's elder brother Bimal Chandra said that Nirmal tried to commit suicide by drinking poison before. Jahangir Alam, OC of Pirganj Police Station said that Nirmal committed suicide after becoming addicted to drugs. A UD case has been registered in the police station in this incident.
