A call for community unity at the inauguration of the Greater Comilla Association in Madrid, Spain

Greater Comilla's contribution to the Madrid community in Spain is commendable. The people of this region have been playing an important role in the development and establishment of social, political and Islamic culture in the community's long journey of 40 years. They continue to play a unique role in establishing the strength of the community with their labor, talent and ability. The guests present at the inauguration ceremony of Greater Comilla Samiti made this comment.

The inauguration of the Spanish branch of the Greater Comilla Association, one of the largest organizations in Madrid, has been ceremonially completed. President Noor Hussain Patwari presided over the meeting held on November 13 at six in the evening in the hall of Bangladesh Association with great enthusiasm. The general secretary of the organization Suruzzaman Miah delivered the welcome speech. Joint secretary of the organization Fakhruddin Raji and organizing secretary Abul Hashem were the chief guests in the event, Deputy Chief of Mission of Bangladesh Embassy in Spain Abdur Rauf Mondal, international famous painter Monirul Islam, Counselor of the Embassy Deen Mohammad Imadul Haque (Political) Counselor spoke as special guests. In the presence of hundreds of people, the members of the association presented some of their plans and the visiting speakers presented the past history of Comilla, Chandpur, Brahmanbaria and the greater Comilla. Dinner was arranged for everyone in the ceremony. Advisor Shipon Ahmed recited the Quran at the beginning of the program.
