Discussion meeting of National Teachers Forum was held on the occasion of World Teachers' Day
Nurul Kabir Arman,Special Representative.
National Teachers Forum Central President Professor Mahbubur Rahman said that if education is a means of social change, then one of the sources of that means is the teachers' society. A real change in education is not possible if the teaching community is left behind socially and economically. In Bangladesh, swept away by the tide of development, teachers still have to go down the road to get their rights. In order to remove the bonus discrimination, the teachers have to take up the pen and make repeated demands. If this continues, talented people will turn away from the teaching profession. For this reason, before the development of the education system, the teaching community should be developed socially and economically, as well as through appropriate training. He said the above while delivering the President's address at the discussion session titled "World Teachers' Day and Expectations of the Teachers' Society" today (October 5) Wednesday. The discussion meeting organized by National Teachers Forum Central Committee was moderated by Forum Joint Secretary General Lecturer Abdus Sabur.
National Teachers Forum Senior Vice President Maulana ABM Zakaria, Secretary General Prof. Nasir Uddin Khan, Organizing Secretary Ishtiaq Mu Al-Amin, Finance Secretary AK Azad, Urban South Secretary Mufti Saeed Ahmad and other leaders were also present.
