Terrorist attack on a house in Pirganj. Vandalism and looting

 It is reported that terrorists attacked the house of an innocent family in Bairchuna village of Pirganj upazila of Thakurgaon district, looted and damaged the furniture. By disobeying the judgment of Thakurgaon District Assistant Judge and losing the case filed in the court, the terrorists carried out these atrocities on 20/08/2022 at 9 o'clock in the night. It is known that Zainal Abedin's son Ambar Ali, Shamsul Haque's son Nuruzzaman and Kamruzzaman, Abdul Quader's son Shamsul Haque, Sulaiman Ali's son Ruhul Amin Abu, Afaz Uddin's son Mansoor Rahman, Munsur Rahman's son Ekib Uddin, Mehrab Ali's son Dulal Hossain, Nazrul Islam, son of Kaimuddin, along with 16 RG named persons and 35/40 unknown terrorists took different types of indigenous weapons and committed this incident at the house of Abdus Samad, son of deceased Alimuddin in Bairchuna Mauza. Bairchuna Mauzar J,L No-167, SA Khatian No-450, Dag No-2028, Land Extent- 83 Cent. Abdus Samad, son of late Alimuddin of Bairchuna Mauza, purchased the land from the real owner by deed, while the terrorists have been in peaceful possession for a long time. During their illegal activities, the terrorists stole Tk 50,000 in cash, Tk 35,000 in gold ornaments from Abdus Samad's house, cut a tree at Tk 6,000, destroyed a barbed wire fence worth Tk 53,800, damaged a pole of Tk 26,000 and 1 lakh. They caused extensive damage including damage to shops and goods worth Tk 50,000. The terrorists continued to threaten to kill Abdus Samad and other members of his family in the future if this innocent family tried the case in the court or at the police station. Abdus Samad became the plaintiff in this incident and recently filed a case in the learned Senior Judicial Magistrate Amli Court, Thakurgaon. After the case, it was alleged that Pirganj Upazila Chairman Akhtarul Islam, Upazila Executive Officer Shahriar Nazir, Police Station Officer-in-Charge Jahangir Alam and local UP Chairman Himu Sarkar were unfairly oppressing Abdus Samad by taking sides. Abdus Samad and his family members are currently suffering from extreme insecurity due to the activities of those terrorists. As a result, he and the local residents have sought the urgent intervention of the learned court.
