In Peerganj, a housewife committed suicide by drinking poison because she was jealous of her husband

The incident took place in Sindurna village of the upazila. The police recovered the body and sent it to the district morgue.
According to police, Krishna Roy and his wife Jayanti Rani of Sindurna village of the upazila were killed on Friday night.
Beaten due to family dispute. Out of anger and shame, on Saturday morning, Jayanthi Rani ate the granulated insect killer in the house. Later, when he was brought to Pirganj Hospital in a sick condition, the doctor referred him to M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital, Dinajpur. Jayanti died near Saguni Bridge while collecting the car and taking it to Dinajpur.
Police recovered the body from Krishna's house at noon and sent it to the morgue for post-mortem. Peerganj Police Station OC (Investigation) Vidyut Kumar Chowdhury said that a UD case has been filed in the police station. The body was recovered and sent to the morgue.
