The Prime Minister again sent a gift of mango to the President of Maldives

Like every year, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given mangoes to the top leaders of different countries during the mango season, but Maldives, with its exception, has received mangoes twice as much as the Prime Minister's gift, recently as a sign of Maldives-Bangladesh friendship.

 To further strengthen the ties and friendship between the two countries, the 700 kg of famous Haribhanga Mango sent by the Hon'ble Prime Minister to the President of Maldives for the second time was handed over to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday afternoon, January 3, especially Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina On 23 June 2022, Rear Admiral SM Abul Kalam Azad, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the Maldives, handed over 600 kg of famous mangoes of Bangladesh to Mr. Salih as a gift to Mr. Ahmed Saleem, Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Maldives.

Mr. Md. Sohail Parvez, First Secretary of the High Commission and Ms. Fatimat Ghina, Joint Secretary of the Ministry were present on the occasion.

This year, Maldives received a total of 1,500 famous Haribhanga mangoes in two steps.

 It may be mentioned that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has maintained the continuity of delicious mango gifts in the development of diplomatic relations. However, this time the range has increased. Not only the neighboring country India, but also the kings, presidents and prime ministers of different countries have sent delicious mangoes as gifts.
