In Naogaon, the child's cry revealed the body inside

The police recovered the body of a housewife after breaking the door of a child crying inside a locked house in Mahadevpur upazila of Naogaon district. The incident took place on Thursday (July 21) evening in the Kacharipara embankment area of ​​Sadar Union of the upazila.

Al-Amin, the housewife's husband, is absconding since the incident. Son of Bakul Hossain of Zeropoint area of ​​Sapahar Upazila of Al-Amin District. The deceased housewife Shiuli is the daughter of Hazrat Ali of Khirsin village of Patnitala Upazila, adjacent to Akhtar.

According to local and police sources, Al-Amin along with his wife Shiuli Akhter and two-and-a-half-year-old daughter were staying at Rabiul Alam house near Kacharipara embankment of Mahadevpur Upazila Sadar Union for the past one week. Al-Amin used to work as a tailor in Mahadevpur market. On Thursday evening, on hearing the child's cry, the neighbors went and found the door of the house locked. At that time, when they went to the front of the house and called them, the locals informed the police as no one responded except for the sound of the baby crying. Later, the police broke the lock of the house and found the body of the housewife Shiuli on the bed. At that time, the child was sitting next to his mother's dead body and was crying.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mahadevpur police station Azam Uddin Mahmud said that after receiving information from the locals in the evening, they reached the spot and broke the door of the locked room and recovered the body of the housewife named Shiuli Akhtar. Currently, the body is kept in police custody. The body will be sent to Naogaon Sadar Hospital morgue for post-mortem on Friday (July 22) morning.

He also said that the housewife's husband is absconding since the incident. The cause of death will be known after the autopsy report. Preparations are underway to file a case at the police station.
