Accused arrested in Paharpur of Badalgachi in drug case including ganja

Police have arrested a drug dealer listed in the case of drugs including ganja in historical Paharpur of Badalgachi upazila of Naogaon district.
He was arrested from Jagdishpur village of Paharpur UP on Wednesday, July 27, at 10:15 PM.
The name of the arrested drug dealer is Md Ferdous Waheed Mondal (59. He is the son of deceased Altab Hossain Mondal of Jagdishpur village.
According to the case of Badalgachi police station,
SI (Retd) Md. Salahuddin Al-Mamun, accompanied by ATSI/17 Md. Rezaul Karim, ATSI/127 Gausul Azam, Cong/426 Md. Rafiqul Alam along with drug recovery and warrant Tamil duty and special operation while staying at historical Paharpur Bazar of Badalgashi to find out based on confidential information. You can find that a man is staying inside a bamboo grove in front of the house of a certain Azad on the northern bank of the pond of Sultan Chairman (Ex) Morr of Jagdishpur village under Badalgachi police station to sell the narcotic ganja.
On receiving the news, the officer in-charge of Badalgachi police station was informed on the mobile phone. According to his instructions, he immediately arrived at the scene at 10:15 PM to verify the truth of the incident and take legal action. On sensing the presence of the police, the accused fell on the ground under a bamboo tree while trying to escape and was arrested by the police. .
When asked about this, Paharpur police outpost SI Md. Salahuddin Al-Mamun said, after the arrest of the accused, witness 1 was present there. Md. Babu (Hakar Babu) (60), Father- Deceased Nurul Islam, Village Jagdishpur (Fakirpara), Police Station- Badalgachi District Naogaon 2. Md. Abu Bakar Siddique (45), Father- Md. Abdus Samad, Village- Brajerpur, UP- Vadsha, Police Station and District- Jaipurhat, during the search of the body of the accused, I took out with my own hands from the back right thigh of the lungi of the accused Md. Ferdous. We recovered 100 (one hundred) grams of ganja in white polythene, the estimated value of which is Rs.3,000/- (three thousand).
After receiving the ganja, I weighed it with the digital weighing machine I had with me in front of the witnesses and sealed it with the signatures of the witnesses described on the spot.
He also said that when the accused was interrogated, he admitted that he had been dealing in marijuana and drugs for a long time and kept the marijuana for sale.
After the raid along with the detained accused and seized goods, the accused was given first aid at Badalgachi Upazila Health Complex and a case was registered against the said accused at the police station for having committed an offense under Section 36(1) Table 19(a) of the Narcotics Control Act 2018 by keeping cannabis in custody.
