Fines for selling oil at petrol pumps in Naogaon

A petrol pump in Dhamairhat in Naogaon district has been fined by the pump manager for giving less than 140 grams of petrol per liter.

On Tuesday, May 10, at 12 noon, Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate of the Upazila Sibbir Ahmed Dhamairhat East Petroleum National Petroleum and Filling Station, during the conduct of the mobile court, about 14 rupees less per liter of petrol for giving less than the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009. Pump manager Ratan Hossain was fined Tk 50,000 for the violation. At that time, the general consumer who came to get the oil, Aceland, gave a red salute to Sibbir Ahmed. Mobile court pacer Mehedi Hasan said his manager Ratan was fined Tk 50,000 for operating the mobile court at two petrol pumps in the upazila.
