A teenager has been arrested for raping a six-year-old child in Naogaon

Niamatpur police have arrested a 14-year-old boy for allegedly raping a six-year-old child in Niamatpur upazila of Naogaon district.

On Saturday night, the victim's father filed a case against the teenager and he was arrested.

According to the rape case report, the child went out to play outside the house on Thursday afternoon, April 8, and the child went out to look for the child's parents, but they could not find them and returned home. After a while, when the child returned home alone, the mother of the child saw blood in the child's genitals while responding to the call of nature. When he questioned the child about his suspicions, he said that the teenager next door took him to a nearby house and raped him.

The child's parents then admitted the child to the Upazila Health Complex and transferred him to Rajshahi Medical College on the advice of a doctor. The child is currently undergoing treatment there.

The victim's father said, 'The child is a niece about the teenager. There is no problem with their family. As it was too late to return home after playing, we did not find the husband and wife out to look for the girl. When asked later, he openly told what happened to him. I demand a fair trial.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Niamatpur Police Station Humayun Kabir confirmed the incident and said that the child accused in the incident has been arrested and sent to the Juvenile Correctional Center.
