Mother killed by son, killer arrested

In Khagrachhari Ramgarh, a pregnant mother named Ruma Begum (60) was killed by her back. Ibrahim (35). In this incident, the son of a heretic said. Police have arrested Ibrahim.

The incident took place at around 10:30 pm on Saturday (February 19) at Chowdhurypara, Ramgarh's 5th Municipal Ward (behind the jail). The killer said. Abraham is their eldest son.

The deceased was identified as Ruma Begum, wife of Abdul Jalil, a resident of Chowdhurypara (behind the jail) area of ​​Ramgarh upazila.

The matter has been confirmed by Ramgarh Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Shamsuzzaman.

According to local sources, the boy said on Thursday. Mother Ruma Begum kicked Ibrahim out of the house. On the day of the incident, he came home around 9:30 pm on Saturday and got into a quarrel with his mother. At one stage, the mother pushed Ruma Begum and threw her to the ground. Then he started beating his mother randomly. His nose, mouth and head were crushed. He died on the spot due to excessive bleeding. After killing his mother, Ibrahim pretended to be unconscious and lay down on the bed of the house.

Ramgarh Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Shamsuzzaman said his son Md Ibrahim was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the incident. There was blood on his shirt. During preliminary interrogation, he confessed to the murder. The body has been sent to Khagrachhari District Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. Subsequent legal proceedings are ongoing.
