Inauguration of Guimara Upazila Public Health Engineer's Office

The office of Guimara Upazila Public Health Engineer of Khagrachhari district has been inaugurated.

Khagrachhari MP Kujendra Lal Tripura MP inaugurated the new office of the Department of Public Health Engineering in the area under Guimara Upazila Complex on February 10 at noon.

Rebecca Ahsan, Executive Engineer, Khagrachhari District Public Health Department, gave a welcome address at the inaugural function.

Guimara Upazila Public Health Engineer Ayub Ali Ansari, Manikchhari Upazila Awami League General Secretary and District Council Member Main Uddin, among others, spoke.

Khagrachhari district Awami League co-president and former chairman of the district council Kanjari Chowdhury.

Khagrachhari District Awami League Co-President Kalyan Mitra Barua, Guimara Upazila Awami League General Secretary and District Council Member Memong Marma, Guimara Union Parishad Chairman Nirmal Narayan Tripura, Hafchhari Union Parishad Chairman Manshe Chowdhury and other district and Upazila Awami League party leaders and workers were present.

In the discussion meeting, Kujendra Lal Tripura MP said that with the efforts of local Awami League leaders in the continuity of development of the present government, Guimara Upazila started its journey today and hoped that it would be transformed into a very modern upazila.

It may be mentioned that the office of Guimara Upazila Public Health Engineering Department was constructed at a cost of Tk. 43 lakhs.

Besides, MP inaugurated a safe water supply system in remote Pankhimura.
